Having left the corporate world of drug development following a fulfilling and impactful 38 years with Hoffmann-La Roche, Carol has turned her attention to providing strategic insights and expertise to companies, leadership teams and individuals in drug development as well as offering insights on leadership approaches that translate across the work environment as people pivot to create new lives and purpose outside of work.
Building on her knowledge, insights and learnings within the area of Clinical Operations and her own personal experiences, Carol can provide strategic insights as well as individualised coaching and mentoring support across both drug development as well as life pivots.
Carol is a dynamic leader proven in motivating and creating diverse, multi-cultural teams, in-person and virtually, in the areas of program, study and country site management, quality assurance, innovation and business process improvement. She quickly creates and maintains trust.
As a member of a global leadership team, her role saw her transforming a clinical operations function of around 1,500 people from a hierarchical management model to a community model focussed on a human-centric mindset, a commitment to personal growth and clear business priorities.
Given that the best and most sustainable ideas come from those closest to the work, Carol prefers to operate as closely as possible to those who will be impacted by any change. She will delve deeper into these ideas, bringing alternative suggestions based on her own experience and learnings, and then communicate and drive change to ensure the ideas are sustainably embedded.
